Earth Hour

Turn out. Take action.
Be part of this historic event.
March 28, 2009, 8:30 pm local time

World Wildlife Fund is asking individuals, businesses, governments and organizations around the world to turn off their lights for one hour – Earth Hour – to make a global statement of concern about climate change and to demonstrate commitment to finding solutions.

Does this really solve anything? No, but its a symbolic action … so, turn off your lights for 1 hour, its really not that hard.

Active Mail Order Files Bankruptcy…

I wonder if Industrial is worried that they will be the next mail order to lose ground. Or is FootLocker second guessing their purchase of CCS?

I dunno, I have no sympathy for mail order/mall shops that steal business from real skateshops. Doug and Aaron and the rest of them at Industrial suck and don’t care about skateboarding. Yea, it’s cute they bring demo’s and signings to AZ/Texas/Nevada but what the hell do they actually do for the local people that actually skateboard? NOTHING.

The scene would be 100 times better in AZ if every single Industrial shut down, and an independent neighborhood skateshop opened. One that would employ people that know about and love skateboarding, and sponsor kids who are coming up.

Mail order/mall stores suck.

Matix Mondays: Marty, Bucky, and more…

Some cool footage from Tempe and Chandler not to mention a guerilla and a “green man Harl.”

Manufacturing Consent
